Landscape Design and Consultation

If you have a larger landscape project to complete, we suggest that potential customers have some kind of landscape plan or drawing for their landscape. Or simply make some notes of what you want to accomplish. This helps with comparing estimates (apples to apples).

Often times a customer can draw up something on their own. However, we offer landscape design and experienced landscape consultation for a fee, if needed.

Landscape Consultations and Ideas are $150 per hour.

Landscape Designs are $150 per hour, with a minimum charge of $450.

Landscape Designs are 2D, completed on a Landscape CAD Software on 8 1/2 x 11" paper or 11" x 17" paper, depending on design area.

***At this time we only offer small area designs. We recommend contacting a Landscape Architect if you need 3D design, a photo design, an Architectural Plan, or a Larger Design or Plan needs.

Budget

Landscaping projects tend to vary greatly in cost.

A project can be anywhere from $2,000 to $150,000 depending on the size of the project, materials selected, and how difficult the site is.

There are low end materials, mid and high end materials.

We do not want to estimate for a high end project, that will give you sticker shock. We want to help you plan for an affordable landscape that fits your needs and budget.

So, let us know if you have a strict budget.

Tips for getting a Landscape Estimate

Before you contact a Landscaper

The key to getting an estimate that you'll be pleased with is;

The first step is to sketch, or list out some ideas, of how you would like to use the space in your yard. If you want multiple estimates, you will want the estimates to have the same ideas, or you will not be comparing apples to apples.
Do you have children, pets, frequent social gatherings, etc.
In the front of the home, customers usually want curb appeal.
In the back yard, customers usually want to entertain, have gardens, have play areas, etc.
Before you call a landscaper, make a list of what you think you will use the spaces for.
Think about purchasing a Landscape Design or Plan.

Pick out Materials

Before you contact a Landscaper

It is helpful if you do a little homework. Especially if you are overly concerned about costs.

Go to a local Landscape Supply Yard, and a Greenhouse. Look at materials and plants.
Landscaping costs vary greatly by the material that you choose.

Another Note: We will only install hardscape materials from a Landscape Supplier, not big box stores (the quality is not the same). We also will only install plant material from a licensed Greenhouse.
